During my time at Bob's Corn & Pumpkin Patch, I worked as a Marketing Lead, managing one of the farm’s primary advertising channels: social media. Upon my arrival, I developed digital marketing strategies tailored to the farm’s three platforms, Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok, ensuring content and audience alignment to maximize reach and engagement. I built a robust content calendar with 3–5 posts per week per platform, captured all photography and video, designed graphics, wrote copy, and managed influencer partnerships through creative briefs and direct communication. I also supported product marketing for the Country Store and concessions area. To measure impact, I established KPIs at the start of the season and tracked monthly metrics for engagement, visibility, and reach, refining content strategies based on performance data.
This role required initiative and creativity, as I was responsible for finding the best ways to elevate the farm’s presence while staying authentic to its brand. After collaborating with the executive team, I aligned my strategies to the farm’s key objectives: creating visibility for events, positioning the farm as a “foodie” destination, and strengthening its sense of family-centered community.
The experience challenged me to expand my expertise in social media marketing, influencer management, creative briefs, product marketing, and brand storytelling. By weaving together cohesive, audience-driven content, I was able to grow brand equity while ensuring the farm’s marketing efforts aligned with its broader objectives and authentic story.
